  4. GammaCAD PRO is a full featured CAD program for Windows 3.1 or
  5. later.  Use it to design an addition to your house, create a
  6. circuit diagram, graphs, charts, maps, landscaping, and much more.  
  7. Features include: symbol libraries, DXF import/export, layers, 
  8. grids, element snaps, dimensioning, architectural numbers (ft/in),
  9. multi-level undo. Creates scaled printouts/plots with automatic 
  10. page setup.  On-line tutorials and examples get you up and running
  11. in no time.

  14. Installing GammaCAD PRO

  20. Uninstalling the Evaluation Version of GammaCAD PRO 2.00
  21. --------------------------------------------------------

  23. Double click on the Program Manager group containing the evaluation
  24. version of GammaCAD PRO (usually "GammaCAD PRO").  Click on the 
  25. first icon in the group and press the delete key.  The program 
  26. will ask you if you are sure you want to delete the item.  Press 
  27. the "Yes" button.  Do this for each icon in the group.  Press the 
  28. delete key one more time and press the "Yes" button to delete the 
  29. group itself.

  31. Use the File Manager program (located in the "Main" group of 
  32. Program Manager) to delete the files and directory containing this
  33. version of the program (e.g. c:\gcadp).  Make sure you do not 
  34. delete any drawing files (*.gc1 and *.sym) you wish to keep.  See
  35. your Windows manual for more information on using File Manager.

  53. File Error: Cannot find CTL3DV2.DLL
  54.  
  55.   This file comes with Windows but is sometimes missing on some
  56.   systems for whatever reason.  Issue the following command at
  57.   a DOS prompt to copy it to the proper directory.

  59.     copy c:\gcadp\ctl3d c:\windows\system\ctl3dv2.dll
  60.  
  61.   Replace "c:\gcadp" with the directory containing the GammaCAD 
  62.   files.  Replace "c:\windows" with the path to your Windows 
  63.   directory.

  65.   After installation, you can control the use of the 3d control
  66.   library (ctl3dv2.dll) by adding the following line to the file 
  67.   \windows\gammacad.ini.

  69.      3DControls=off
  70.  
  71.   This causes the program to not load the 3D control library and 
  72.   you will not get 3d controls in the program dialogs but the 2d 
  73.   versions have all the same functionality.  The following line
  74.   will turn 3d controls on.
